Boston Celtics rookie wing Jordan Walsh made his NBA debut on Wednesday night, playing a mere 3 minutes in the Celtics’ 117-98 blowout victory over rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Yet, despite his brief floor time, the former Razorback saw plenty of crowd support cheering him on as he played.
The 19-year-old Arkansas alum was warmly welcomed by fans of the Celtics during his first regular season game appearance for Boston. Following the emphatic win against San Antonio — Boston’s 20th straight at TD Garden to push the historic streak on — CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning invited Noa Dalzell from Celtics Blog to join the “Garden Report” podcast and discuss Walsh’s first minutes in the league among other topics.
