Can Jayson Tatum play point guard for the Boston Celtics?

Will the Boston Celtics play All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum at point guard next season? While there has been plenty of hand-wringing about the depth of the Celtics’ backcourt after trading away veteran floor general Marcus Smart, the St. Louis native has been bringing the ball upcourt for years now even when Smart was on the roster and the nominal starting point guard.

Could the plan for the 2023-24 NBA season and beyond simply be to keep the ball in Tatum’s hands for the majority of possessions with guards Derek White, Malcolm Brogdon, and Payton Pritchard playing more distributor and off-ball scoring roles?
