Will Gio van Bronckhorst get Rangers fans back onside after they turned to the boos? Saturday Jury

Rangers fans have turned to the boos. Is there any way back for Gio van Bronckhorst?

Craig Swan: Of course there is. His team are in the semis of the League Cup and just two points behind in the title race. It’s hardly dismal.

Fraser Wilson: This week could be key. Livi at home, Napoli away, Aberdeen at home. Two Ibrox wins are non-negotiable or the boo boys could get their wish. There must also be a spirited performance in Naples. Get all three and there could be light at the end of the tunnel.

Michael Gannon: It will be like turning around the QE2 in Tollcross baths. Van Bronckhorst needs to find a spark, settle on a style of play and get some big results or he will be in big bother.

What do you make of Kyle Lafferty’s 10 game ban for using a sectarian slur?

Craig: The SFA have rules in place to deal with such matters. It’s there in black and white.

Fraser: It’s no surprise as that was in the SFA’s regulations. Lafferty was stupid and has rightly apologised. The halfwits that prank sports stars in this fashion need to take a look at themselves too.

Michael: It’s harsh but it’s in the rules and Lafferty should know better. He’s 35 and he’s been in and around the city most of his life and he is well aware folk are out to trip players up. Stupidity is no defence unfortunately.

How high can Reo Hatate go and what price tag should Celtic stick on the midfielder?

Craig: Hatate can go to the very top. He’s an artist on the ball, has great movement off it and superb vision. Prices are dictated by a buyer.

Fraser: He has all the tools to be a Premier League player, maybe not for a top-six club but a solid mid-table outfit. Sneaking into the Japan World Cup squad would help. Right now, at 24, Celtic could be looking at somewhere around £10million.

Michael: He’s got the tools to play in the Premier League one day. Celtic could probably command about £15m but he’ll be worth far more if he sticks around for another couple of seasons and continues to develop.

How do Hearts turn around their form and stun Celtic this lunchtime?

Craig: Hearts can turn their form around at some point but not today. Celtic are in great form and will likely be too strong.

Fraser: By converting the chances they continue to pass up. Hearts could easily have been three up before Aberdeen took the lead last week. But it’s in defence where injuries are being felt hardest and it could be a long afternoon for the Jambos.

Michael: With great difficulty. Hearts are shipping goals and failing to take chances. It’s not a great recipe with the champions coming to town. But the Jambos are due a big performance.
