Liverpool have been told by a former striker that they could “destroy” Manchester United.
The Reds go into the game at Old Trafford on Monday night on the back of a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last week. It was their second consecutive draw of the campaign, as Liverpool are without a win so far this season in the league.
For Man United, they were beaten in each of their opening two league matches against Brighton and Brentford, respectively. It will see Liverpool return to Old Trafford for the first time since their memorable 5-0 win last October.

Ex-United and Everton striker Louis Saha has handed out his prediction for the match. Saha believes that Liverpool could “destroy” the home side just as they did twice last season, as well as making a “surprising” claim.
"I think it’s going to be a surprising game," Saha told Stats Perform, via Yahoo.
"Liverpool are not playing at the same level as before. There are some questions about how they have started.
"I think it's a good and positive game for Manchester United to react. The opening 30 minutes are going to be very important.
"If United don't provide a good contest all the way through, they can be destroyed as any team can against Liverpool.
"But if they find the right spirit, like we saw during pre-season, then it could be an amazing game to watch."
