Cammy Devlin may not have featured at the World Cup but the Hearts man will have a memory to last a lifetime.
The Australian national time surpassed the best World Cup showing ever, reaching the knockout stages only to lose 2-1 to Argentina and world superstar Lionel Messi. The former Barcelona icon was on fire during the game in Qatar that saw the Socceroos knocked out, and scored a crucial game upon his 1000th appearance on the pitch.
And after the game was over, Hearts star Devlin was the man Messi gifted his coveted jersey to after the Rosario superstar won the man of the match award. The 24-year-old Gorgie star can be seen in a clip posted on social media exchanging shirts with Messi before a nice word was shared between the two.
