Camilla's grandchildren are expected to attend their grandmother and step-Grandfather's Coronation, amid claims Archie and Lilibet have not been invited.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children were understood to not be attending, but the Queen Consort's grandchildren will have an official role, reports suggest.
Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles has two children, 15 and 13, and her daughter Laura Lopes has 13-year-old twins.
The King's wife is hoping that they would carry the canopy that is placed over her as she is annointed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited, and were expected at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
But, palace officials consider their children - Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet - are too young to attend the ceremony.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are still “pondering” whether to take lively Prince Louis, who turns five next month.
A Buckingham Palace source told The Sunday Times that it would be 'wholly improper' for discussions over roles for the Queen Consort's grandchildren but not her husband's.
Asked if Archie and Lilibet were invited, one royal source simply noted that they were "very young".
Although Louis' attendance is in doubt, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, who turns eight just days before the coronation, are expected to attend the ceremony crowning King Charles III.
Harry and Meghan are yet to confirm if they'll attend the event and are understood to be weighing up the logistics.
But if they do attend, the Sussexes will not be invited to take part in the official balcony appearance, it has been claimed.
A friend of the family told MailOnline: "They will be given the cold shoulder by very many relatives. One said to me, "I hope they'll be seated in Iceland."
"Many of the family just want nothing more to do with them. If they have to see them at the Coronation then so be it, but they do not want to socialise with them."
Harry and Meghan fled the Royal Family in early 2020 when they stepped back from official duties.
They have since made a series of bombshell claims about royal life and accusations against the royals in interviews and TV shows, deepening the rift between the pair and Harry's family.
They were expected to stay at Frogmore Cottage for the duration of their stay, enjoying Archie's birthday before the ceremony.
They are being evicted from Frogmore by Charles who is understood to have offered it to Prince Andrew, with the Duke of York said to be refusing to move from his lavish 30-bedroom Royal Lodge in the shadow of Windsor Castle.
The King is insisting on budget cuts to royal finances that would leave Andrew, 63, unable to pay for the mansion’s upkeep.
The King has given Harry and Meghan until after the Coronation in May to clear their belongings from Frogmore Cottage.
Earlier this month, a source close to the Royal couple claimed they were "OK" with the King's decision and feel that “if we need to move out, we will get ourselves out”, despite previous reports the news came as a shock and a "crushing blow".
