1. His full name is Cameron Joseph Tringale.
2. His surname is pronounced Trin-gaah-lay.’
3. Tringale was born to Joe Tringale and Robin Mullin on August 24, 1987 in Mission Viejo, California.
4. He has a wife named Tasha, and they have a baby daughter together named Gianna, who was born late 2020.
5. He has a brother – Jon Tringale, who used to play golf at San Jose State – and a sister Alissa Mullin, who is a high school chemistry teacher.
6. Growing up, he wanted to be an actor.
7. He attended Georgia Tech University, graduating with a degree in Management.
8. While at university, he was a three-time NCAA All-American, awarded to the best collegiate golf players in the country.
9. Tringale made his Major debut at the 2009 US Open, in which he missed the cut at Bethpage.

12. The American turned professional in 2009, going on to earn PGA Tour cards for 2010 and 2011 after strong performances in qualifying school. His PGA Tour debut arrived at the 2010 Sony Open.
13. Despite being a pro since 2009, Tringale has only managed one win. That arrived in 2014 when he won the Franklin Templeton Shootout alongside Jason Day.
14. PGA Tour pro, Rickie Fowler and Tringale were roommates back in 2009 at the start of their careers. Fowler, two years younger than Tringale, had a spare bedroom and offered it around, before Tringale eventually took him up on the offer. They roomed together for five years.

15. Tringale disqualified himself from the 2014 PGA Championship six days after the tournament had finished after realising he had signed an incorrect scorecard. Tringale had originally finished the Major in a share of 33rd. At the 2020 PGA Championship, he once again DQ'd himself after noticing he had signed for a par-3 when he had actually made a four on the eighth hole at TPC Harding Park.
16. His best performance at a Major came at the 2022 US Open, finishing T14th. His brother Jon was his caddie that week.
17. Tringale's highest-ever position in the Official World Golf Ranking arrived in 2022 when he was 44th.
18. Tringale is a Christian, and sponsors a child through Compassion International. He has also donated other winnings of his to charity in his career.
19. Among his bucket-list activities includes doing a skydive and running a marathon.
20. In 2022, Tringale resigned from being a member of the PGA Tour to join the LIV Golf League.
