Cameron Norrie net worth as Brit bids for first ever Grand Slam final at Wimbledon

When Cameron Norrie walks out on Centre Court to face Novak Djokovic on Centre Court on Friday, money will probably be the last thing on his mind.

Norrie, 26, is not only in the form of his life, but also just one win away from the first Grand Slam final of his career. It follows a fairytale run at Wimbledon for the British No 1, who beat David Goffin in a thrilling five-setter in his quarter-final.

He'll undoubtedly start off underdog against the top seed, despite the guarantee of a raucous crowd trying to will him to become only the second home player this century to make a men's final at SW19. But even if he is beaten by the Serbian, a big payday, and sizeable boost to his current worth and career earnings, is already secured.

Net worth

Norrie was seeded ninth coming into Wimbledon having enjoyed a superb 2022, and despite failing to retain his title at Indian Wells he's won ATP events at Delray Beach and Lyon. However, is ascent to the top end of the sport has not been an instant one since his inaugural year on the tour in 2017.

That notion is reflected in the star's current net worth. According to nationalworld, his current net worth is around £3 million, a figure undoubtedly boosted by his recent improvement.

But whilst that sum of money wouldn't be sniffed at by a lot of fellow pro's, it's dwarfed when compared to his opponent on Friday. Djokovic, a former world No 1 with 20 Grand Slam titles to his name, boasts a net worth of around £180 million.

Career earnings

Norrie has already made £1.12 million from competing this year, contributing to overall career earnings of £5.31 million. Those figures come from ATP singles and doubles competitions combined.

And they are figures which are set to be boosted no matter what transpires between now and Sunday afternoon. Even if Norrie falls to his more esteemed opponent, he'll walk away with £535,000, more than half of what he's already made in 2022 so far.

If he does not the biggest win of his career, and goes on to lose in the final, the South African born star will walk away with more than a £1 million. And should he do the unthinkable and topple not only Djokovic, but Rafael Nadal or Nick Kyrgios come Sunday, he'll bag £2 million to supplement his place in history.

Endorsements

If Norrie proceeds to win his maiden Grand Slam title, then the lucrative endorsement offers are sure to come flowing in. Fellow British star Emma Raducanu is testament to that.

But regardless, his surge up the rankings has already made him a target figure for brands. He has a deal with Babolat, who also provide racquets to the likes of Nadal and Dominic Thiem.

His shoes and apparel sponsor is K-Swiss, and he's also endorsed by luxury watch manufacturing giant Rado. But if his current fairytale continues into Sunday afternoon, expect the list of interested companies to expand dramatically.
