Cameron Norrie climbed into the world’s top 10 for the first time in his career on Monday after a strong start to 2022.
The British No1 has already won one title this season – the Delray Open – and lost to Rafael Nadal in another, the Mexican Open, after losing his opening four matches of the season in Australia.
He saw his run at last week’s Miami Open ended by eventual runner-up Casper Ruud but, despite that, breaks into the ATP’s top 10.
With a picture of his team on social media, he wrote: “These boys with me through the thick and thin. Top 10 debut – let’s keep going for more.”

At 26, Norrie, who enjoyed his breakout year last season, is something of a late bloomer on the ATP Tour.
But Andy Murray was among those to pay tribute to a player deemed one of the hardest working in tennis.
Murray said: “I think he’s a great example for not just British players but all tennis players to look at and go, if you put the effort in day in, day out and properly dedicate yourself to the sport, have an attitude like he does, it can take you a long, long way.”
