Cameron Carter-Vickers revealed he once accidentally broke his gran's wrist in a garden kickabout.
The American defender is known for his power and showcased that at Celtic last season.
A near ever-present in Ange Postecoglou 's team, he impressed on loan from Tottenham and the club are in talks to take him back permanently.
But it seems his powerhouse status is nothing new, and his grandmother found out all about it while playing in the garden with him.
Speaking after breaking into the Spurs team back in 2016, Carter-Vickers lifted the lid on an unfortunate incident in his childhood when one committed grandparent went above and beyond the call of duty.
In an archived article on the Spurs website, he spoke about playing football and basketball in the garden with his folks as a child.
And he revealed he once took a shot so hard his gran broke her WRIST trying to save it.
He said: “When I was 10 or 11, I was playing with my nan in the back garden, she was in goal, I shot, she stuck her hand out to save it and she ended up breaking her wrist.
"We laugh about it now, though.
“I played a lot in the garden with my mum and nan when I was younger, but not just football – sometimes we’d be throwing a ball around and playing catch, sometimes a bit of basketball as well.
"We had a basketball hoop as well as a football net and we tried all kinds of sports, but we were just messing around really.”
