Cameron Carter-Vickers has delivered a positive update on his injury situation.
The Celtic stopper brought his season to an end following the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Rangers with Ange Postecoglou confirming he would undergo surgery to correct an issue with his knee after playing through the pain barrier for a long period.
His influence on the field helped the Hoops move to within touching distance of a domestic Treble having set up a Scottish Cup Final with Inverness at Hampden. The Scottish champions will go into that one as heavy favourites to complete the domestic clean sweep after winning a double last term in the first campaign under Postecoglou.

Carter-Vickers has since had his operation and it was a success with the USA international revealing his knee is as good as can be and without putting a timeline on a return, he hopes to be back on the pitch as soon as possible.
Celtic lost out to rivals Rangers 3-0 at Ibrox in the Premiership yesterday but the title is already in the bag. They've got three more league games to go plus the season finale at Hampden with the defender set to watch on from the sides as he begins his rehab.
Speaking to CBS Sports, the stopper said: “The knee is as good as it can be, I got surgery last week.
"I’m just rehabbing from that and it’s still early days so it’s hard to put a timeline on it at the moment. But I’m positive about it and I’m sure I’ll be back as soon as possible.”
