Cameron Carter-Vickers has been labelled Celtic 's "fridge" after his second-half shutout against Rangers.
The American centre-back was named man of the match in the derby after he scored the Hoops' winning goal and helped them fight back from 1-0 down.
His strike added to Tom Rogic's equaliser and Carter-Vickers then marshalled the back line to a robust second-half performance that earned them a huge win.
It moved them six points clear of Rangers at the top of the Premiership and leaves them on the verge of being crowned champions.
The Tottenham loanee has looked an inspired signing and fans and pundits were left raving about his commanding derby performance.
He celebrated on Instagram and was soon flooded by present and former teammates - many calling him "fridge."
Carter-Vickers had wrote: "MASSIVE 3 points! Big performance from the boys."
And teammates such as Giorgos Giakoumakis, Greg Taylor and Mikey Johnston - as well as former Swansea pal Nathan Dyer - responded with his new moniker.
Karamoko Dembele meanwhile responded, "clutch gene" while Josip Juranovic replied, "my partner!"
Celtic now have a six-point advantage as they head into the final six games.
They also know they can secure a domestic treble as they face Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden later this month.
