Camden Town Brewery introduces Goalden Mead ale in honour of England Euro 2022 star

Euro 2022 Golden Boot winner Beth Mead has been honoured for her championship goal-scoring exploits by having a beer named after her. Camden Town Brewery, which also backs Beth's Arsenal club side, has launched Goalden Mead Honey Wheat Ale to celebrate the forward's leading role in England's triumph.

In a fresh take on a traditional mead, Camden Town Brewery has added honey to an American Wheat Ale for a beer with sweet tones and aromas. Created especially for the tournament's top scorer, a sneak peak of the new brew was given to drinkers at the brewery's Camden Beer Hall final screening.

Now the limited-edition Goalden Mead is going to be available on the Camden web shop for all footie fans to enjoy at home. Selling in 4-packs, 100 per cent of beer sales will be going to the charity of Beth’s own choosing, Cancer UK, and Camden will be matching all donations.

There are only 1,000 cans up for grabs so make sure you get in quick for a winning taste. For more information on the upcoming launch of Camden Goalden Mead online, keep an eye on Instagram here, and our very own MEADO beer will be hitting the web shop very soon for pre-order.
