Police have launched an appeal after a man racially abused and punched bar staff in Camden after refusing table service.
Police were called at 8pm on January 16 to the bar near Hampstead Road after two members of staff were headbutted and punched by a customer.
The attacker had declined table service, and demanded to be served at the bar, which went against company policy, said restaurant staff.
He then became aggressive towards a waitress and headbutted a 34-year-old member of staff who tried to intervene. He also punched the bar’s 32-year-old manager.
Neither man required hospital treatment. There have been no arrests.
Officers said the assaults are being treated as hate crimes because of the language used by the suspect.
They released CCTV images on Wednesday of a man they wish to identify and speak with.
