Cambuslang Rangers U21s have been celebrating cup success this week by winning the Lady Darling Cup final – and now they are chasing an impressive QUADRUPLE.
Having already lifted The Only Sport Golden Goals Cup earlier in the season, last week they beat Bellshill 3-1 to lift the Lady Darling Cup.
And they have their sights set on two more trophies with the West of Scotland Cup Final against Third Lanark coming up this Saturday, followed by the Archie Sharkie Memorial League Cup final on Thursday, June 2nd, when they face Johnstone Burgh.
Camby kicked off a semi-final double-header by downing Bellshill. Harry Kent’s opener was initially cancelled out by Bellshill but he popped up with another strike alongside Jack Alison to seal cup glory in a 3-2 victory.
Memorial League Cup semi-final business rolled around on Monday and the Somervell Park side were able to turn on the style again during a 2-1 win.
Andrew Lindsay put them ahead before Kent got in on the goals again before half-time. Glens scored in the 90th minute but it mattered not as Camby booked their passage into the final.
Now the stage is set for the club to round off a truly memorable season with two more trophies.
