Queen's Park have signed Cambuslang Rangers striker Scott Williamson on a three-year pre-contract deal.
Williamson has scored an incredible 43 goals in 27 games for the West of Scotland League Conference B side, including a hat-trick in Saturday's 5-0 home win over Port Glasgow.
Cambuslang Rangers co-boss Billy Campbell confirmed the move and says he's delighted for the striker, who hails from Fernhill in Rutherglen.
Campbell says Williamson, 20, has an opportunity to make a real career for himself, and wishes him all the best.
He said: "Queen's Park have signed him on a pre-contract, three-year full-time deal, so at the end of the season he will join them.
"It's a fantastic achievement for Scott and all credit to him for that, because he thoroughly deserves a chance.
"I've always said that we're here to try and push these guys on.
"There's a lot of work that goes on in and around the football club to get success, for the club, individuals, playing staff, management staff, committee and the players, but one of your key roles is that if you have a talent like Scott, if they can be pushed and get that opportunity to go and make a career out of it, we're absolutely keen to do that.
"That's the point of it.
"You want to open the papers and see the guy scoring goals.
"If he gets there, works hard, gets his foot under the table and gets some goals scored then who knows where it takes him, but he's got a wee bit of a stepping stone there now, a foot on the ladder.
"And it's thoroughly deserved."
