Cam Jordan launches unprovoked dig at Kirk Cousins to fellow NFL stars

New Orleans Saints Defensive end Cam Jordan took a verbal shot at Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins while speaking at Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller's annual pass rush summit.

Miller has held his summit for seven consecutive years, bringing out some of the NFL 's most dominant pass rushers for a masterclass in defending. The summit provides current and former NFL defensive specialists with the guidance and wisdom of top NFL athletes to build a sense of brotherhood while also transmitting the secrets and key strategies necessary to be successful as a pass rusher in the league.

Some of the names listed at the summit were NFL defensive legend DeMarcus Ware and current players Justin Houston, Chandler Jokes, Calais Campbell, Dee Ford, and Jon Jones. Jordan, an eight-time Pro Bowler and a member of the NFL's 2010 all-decade team addressed the crowd of players to advise on how to be successful in the league and have staying power while also taking a shot at Cousins.

"You see a little, you see a lot, if you see a lot, then you saw a little," Jordan addressed the crowd of players. "If you're so focused on what's next or 'where is his [the quarterback's] hand' 'where does he like to throw his hands?' You're so worried about all these other factors that you're slowing yourself down thinking."

"In this game, everybody knows [that] a fast wrong decision could be a right decision. And a fast right decision [makes you] a winner. A slow right decision will get your a** on the bench. Because there's somebody out here, that will be moving a different speed. Slow right decisions; we love them. We call them Kirk Cousins."

After catching wind of the diss made by Jordan, Vikings fans took to social media to remind the All-Pro how Cousins was a key factor in the Vikings beating the Saints last season.

Cousins threw for 273 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception to lead the Vikings to a narrow 28-25 victory.

Two seasons prior, the Drew Brees-led Saints convincingly beat the Vikings 52-33, despite a formidable effort from Cousins, who put up 291 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss.

Also in attendance alongside Jordan was Raiders 25-year-old Defensive End Maxx Crosby, who will overtake the camp in his name as Miller concludes his tenure with the conference.

“I done did it for seven years, man. I realized that I’m not going to be this Von Miller forever,” Miller said Saturday to the press.

“We have the perfect timing to be able to rebrand it to where athletes like Maxx — he’s Mr. Vegas; we have the pass rush summit here in Vegas — I can bring him and Cam Jordan and Micah [Parsons] just to ensure that this event continues to grow and be bigger and better each and every year.”
