Liverpool full-back Calvin Ramsay has undergone surgery to fix an injury that is set to keep him out of action for the foreseeable future.
The 19-year-old was recently omitted from the Reds' updated Champions League squad and on Monday, The Telegraph confirmed that the Scottish Young Player of the Year was facing a lengthy lay-off.
Ramsey has now published a photograph on his Instagram account, showing him in a full surgical gown, following his operation.

The teenage right-back wrote: "Surgery went well time to rest, recover and come back stronger!"
A number of Ramsay's Liverpool teammates have already offered messages of support on the social media post.
Harvey Elliott wrote: "You got this lad," while both Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson shared heart emojis.
Ramsay joined the Reds from Aberdeen in the summer, as cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold, but ran into injury trouble as early as his medical, when a scan revealed a previously undetected stress fracture in his back.
The defender has so far made just two senior appearances for Liverpool since his move south of the border.
