Liverpool have set their sights on Aberdeen youngster Calvin Ramsay, according to a report
The 18-year-old has attracted interest from various English Premier League clubs as well as some European sides.
But the latest could see the Dons right-back make the move to Merseyside to cover for Jurgen Klopp's current first-choice Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool scouts have reportedly been raving about the teenager, who has enjoyed a decent debut with the Dons this season - despite the clubs overall performance this campaign.
And Bild's Christian Falk says the rumours linking Liverpool with the Scotland U21 cap are true.
The Aberdeen starlet recently addressed all the interest he has attracted following his appearances this season.
“It’s all been good because growing up it’s all you want to do — play first-team football, then hopefully get a big move one day in the future," he said.
Liverpool are likely to be looking for an alternative to Trent Alexander-Arnold as they look ahead to next season.
The right-back back up position at Liverpool has been filled by Neco Williams recently.
But the player has now gone to Fulham on loan, raising suspicious of a permanent Anfield exit for the Welshman.
