Jim Goodwin says Calvin Ramsay's injury is nothing to worry about after the full-back took a knock to the head against Dundee.
The 18-year-old fired in his first goal for Aberdeen to get them off to a strong start but they were twice pegged back to draw 2-2.
It was a frustrating day for the Dons made all the worse by a knock to Ramsay that forced him off with 12 minutes remaining.
There were fears of a concussion and Goodwin was taking no chances, replacing him with Jack McKenzie.
But the Pittodrie boss says it should be nothing serious despite the youngster complaining of a headache and "not feeling right."
Goodwin said: "He took a little bit of a bang on the head and wasn’t feeling right towards the end of the game.
“Nothing too serious just a slight headache I think. I don’t think it is a concussion or anything like that. He just wasn’t feeling great after it so we made the change that we had to make."
Ramsay struck first to open his account for the Dons and it was a stunning strike from distance with his weaker left foot.
The teenager came in from the right flank and thumped one low past Ian Lawlor from 20 yards.
"It was a brilliant goal for Calvin," Goodwin went on. "I thought that was him getting back to where he was pre-Christmas.
"So hopefully that will continue for the remainder of the season.”
The result leaves Dons ninth in the Premiership table heading into their final pre-split fixture with Ross County.
