We need more info on this, because it’s just too weird.
Calvin Johnson, the legendary Detroit Lions receiver who’s also a Hall of Famer, retired back in 2016 at the age of 30. It was in January of 2021 that the Lions publicly congratulated him on being a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
But it was on Sunday that he decided to go on X (formerly Twitter) and say thank you to the organization, nearly three years later. What gives?
A lot of people are wondering if he waited until the Lions won the NFC North, which they did on Sunday. Was it a superstitious thing? Like I said, we need more info!
Much appreciated. Thanks for the continuous support! Love my city!
