The subject of Declan Rice's future at West Ham United is a topic rarely off the transfer rumour agenda, and once again, it's a burning topic in the media ahead of the summer.
Even Newcastle United ace Callum Wilson has got himself in on the act, by joking the England midfielder will definitely be leaving the Olympic Stadium when the transfer window opens in a few weeks' time.
Reports suggest the Hammers will listen to offers for the dynamic midfielder, but only if a team in the Champions League coughs up in the region of £120m.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have consistently been linked with moves for the 24-year-old, while Liverpool's name has been thrown into the ring, despite them pulling out of the race to sign Jude Bellingham from Dortmund having been scared off by the hefty price tag.
There is also speculation about a surprise move to Newcastle. Speaking on the Footballers Football podcast, Toon striker Wilson and Rice's Hammers teammate Michail Antonio, joked about the ongoing Rice situation.
“Every summer apparently Declan Rice is leaving right?", Wilson chirped, with ex-Nottingham Forest man Antonio responding with “Every single summer," before Wilson retorted with: “Except this one he definitely is leaving”.
"Nah, he's a good player," added Wilson, while Antonio remained suspiciously quiet. Rice featured in Thursday night's UEFA Conference League semi-final first leg against AZ Alkmaar in East London.
