Callum Wilson believes it's a matter of time until James Maddison makes a move to a big club amid links to Newcastle United. The Leicester City playmaker has been repeatedly linked with a move to St. James' Park, after the Foxes knocked back two bids last summer.
The general consensus in the Midlands is that Maddison will leave Leicester at the end of the year, with the Magpies and Man City reportedly keen on a move. The 26-year-old was called up to the Three Lions' World Cup squad but didn't play a minute in Qatar, raising further questions over his long-term England future.
Nonetheless, Maddison has continued to impress in a struggling Leicester City side and made his first start for England against Ukraine in a 2-0 win in the recent European Qualifiers.

Speaking to the Footballer's Football Podcast, Wilson said: "It's a difficult one because ultimately, if you're playing week in, week out in the Premier League and you're in form and doing it there, you do get in the limelight more which gives you an opportunity to get in the England squad.
"I think regardless of where he's playing, if he's playing in that form he should have the opportunity to play in the England set-up. We've seen over the years, I was playing at Bournemouth which was one of the smallest clubs in the Premier League at the time and I got my opportunity and was doing it there.
"I just feel that he is a top player and eventually he'll move on and go to a bigger club because I think he deserves that opportunity. Especially after how long he's been there and what he's given the club since he's been there.
"In regards to the England set-up, he's got his opportunity while playing at Leicester it seems and I'm happy for him. Fellow Coventry kid so buzzing for him, to see him well on a big stage is nice.
"I just hope he gets more opportunities in the England squad because like we say, there is so many young exciting prospects coming through. He played off the left, but his position is a number ten I'd say.
"He was playing narrow and it worked and was effective. The question mark was always can he do it at that next level and now he has ticked that box. I'm sure a lot of bigger clubs will say 'okay he's played on the England set-up we've seen him on the international stage, he can do it, lets take a gamble on him'."
