Callum Wilson wrote his name into Newcastle United folklore courtesy of his brace in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Southampton at St James' Park.
The England international was introduced at half-time with Newcastle trailing, and scored twice either side of Theo Walcott's own goal to inspire the Magpies to victory.
Wilson scored eight goals in seven league games in April, which saw him surpass Magpies legend Alan Shearer's record for the most Premier League goals scored by a Newcastle player in a calendar month.

Shearer held the previous record for just under 24 years with seven goals in September 1999, which included a five-goal haul in an 8-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
Wilson broke the record with braces against West Ham, Everton and Southampton, and goals in victories over Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 30-year-old has notched 15 goals in 26 appearances for the Magpies in the Premier League this term. He is currently the joint-sixth top goal scorer in the top-flight, and has scored one goal more than in-form Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
His record of 0.87 goals per 90 in the Premier League has only been bettered by Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland (1.27) during the current campaign. Fellow Newcastle forward Alexander Isak has the third-best goals per 90 total (0.84).
