Callum McGregor is doing everything he can to get fit for Celtic in quick fashion.
The midfielder is currently on the comeback trail from a knee injury picked up away at RB Leipzig earlier this month and manager Ange Postecoglou is delighted by his fast progress. McGregor has been an ever-present for the Hoops and a fantastic captain since taking over from Scott Brown since 2021, with his boss revealing that he is still key in the dressing room despite his injury.
There's still so much of the season to go for Celtic and Postecoglou anticipates his skipper playing a big part in that. He told Sky Sports: "He's a constant presence, he's always around the dressing room. The recovery's going well but we won't see him before the break. Callum being Callum, he's pushing every boundary and is probably ahead of schedule, which is no surprise to us.

"Speaking to him, he's in a really good space and is really pleased with how it's going. He realises when we come back there's still a fair bit of the season to go.
"The most important part of the season. He wants to be a big contributor to that."
There's been other injury boots for Celtic this week though, with Jota and Carl Starfelt returning to training after injuries.
