The latest series of Call The Midwife may have only ended in February, but fans needn't despair as series 12 is coming 'very soon.'
The aftermath of the train crash brought series 11 to a conclusion. Nonnatus House staff rallied around to help the injured as Dr Turner and Sister Julienne were trapped in the carriage.
During the episode, Sister Hilda discovered her patient's husband was the driver of the train and he had died. Sister Julienne suffered a suspected heart attack but both she and Dr Turner made a full recovery.

Following the dramatic end to series 11, Nancy Corrigan star Megan Cusack shared several spoilers about the new series. Speaking to RadioTimes.com, she said: "It’s coming very soon. So just really excited to get together with everyone again because everyone’s so lovely. It’s like a family. The crew are great. It’s a great crack.
"It’s that weird time in between where you’re like, ‘I’d actually just like to be with everyone still!'"
Helen George, who plays Trixie Franklin, said: "What’s nice is we’re not going to have COVID restrictions for the first time in a few years, which will be wonderful.
Sister Bernadette's Laura Main added: "There will be no perspex, we can kiss, we can touch and do what we do."
The BBC One series has also been renewed for a 13th series.
