Tom Cruise and Matt Damon have risked being labelled Grinches as the nuns of Call The Midwife have revealed the Hollywood star has been interrupting their Christmas filming schedule.
The actors, 60 and 52, have been branded as the source of nuisance noise which has been forcing the cast of the beloved BBC show to stop filming.
Tom and Matt are sharing Longcross Studios in Surrey with the cast but have caused quite the stir with their choice of transport to work.
Helen George, who plays Trixie Franklin, and Megan Cusack, who plays nurse Nancy Corrigan, have called out the A-Listers for commuting to the studios in their noisy helicopters.
The actresses appeared on This Morning to reveal all to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield ahead of the much-anticipated Christmas special.
Helen and Megan told the presenters how they are sharing Longcross Studios with Tom and Matt, who are filming Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two.
Calling out the actors for their noisy entrances on set, Helen took the opportunity to lambast them on the This Morning sofa.
She explained: “So, Tom Cruise has been filming on the same studio lot as us. He films Mission Impossible, and actually it’s not just Tom Cruise, it’s Matt Damon as well. I’m taking offence with Matt Damon.
“They both come in and land their helicopters right next to where we film and it’s so loud.
“You’ll be in the middle of a beautiful soliloquy and suddenly you hear [imitates helicopter sounds].”
Megan jumped in to slam the duo, telling how the noise puts a stop to their filming.
“You have to stop filming and just wait!” she added.
Holly asked if they’ve seen Tom around the studios or if they just hear him taking off and landing.
“People have seen him,” Megan said, while Helen joked: “I haven’t but I’m always out walking my dog around just hoping I’ll bump into him but I never do.”
Philip leapt to the actor’s defence, saying: “He’s such a lovely guy, I think he would be mortified if he knew he was stopping your filming.”
Helen chimed: “I hope so! I hope this will make him change his ways. Get the train, Tom.”
