Volunteers are needed to help find a dog missing in the Cave Hill area for four days.
LostPawsNI are rallying volunteers to join the search for missing Gerry over the coming days. There is no dedicated search time. Instead, the area has been split into 10 zones and organisers are asking helpers to search whenever they can.
Gerry was spooked on his walk and has been missing since Monday, July 4. Cameras and feeding stations have been set up near to where he was last seen, but he has not been seen using any of them.

Volunteers taking part in the search are urged not to call after, chase, or try to catch Gerry as they might spook him. Instead, if Gerry is spotted, they are to remain calm and alert LostPawsNI with the time and location of the sighting. Downloading the ‘What3Words’ app will give LostPawsNI a precise location for any sightings.
Anyone who may be walking in the area is asked to keep dogs on a lead. If you can offer any help, please contact LostPawsNI on 028 9040 6054 or 0781 6897 537.
DogsLive readers have already helped bring lost dog’s home. In May you rallied together to bring home lost Beagle Finn and helped reunite whippet Sonny with his family in June.
Let’s get poor Gerry back to his loving family and home.
