'Call of Duty: Black Ops 6' Playlist Updates With New 'Chaos Nuketown' Mode and More Party Games

The latest additions to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" brought the anticipated Season 3, but apart from what the game already offers, Treyarch has introduced a new update to its Featured Playlists. One specific game mode found in the Multiplayer Playlists is now taking the online shooter world by storm, with Chaos Nuketown offering an iconic experience right on one of the game's classic maps.

Players have now been given access to many new experiences this Season 3, with Activision Blizzard and Treyarch offering more to gamers, especially in multiplayer and other game modes, to enjoy.

'Call of Duty: Black Ops 6' Playlist Adds Chaos Nuketown

There is no denying that Nuketown is one of the best maps in the "Call of Duty" franchise over the past years, and many gamers have listed this as their top setting.

Now, Treyarch is treating gamers by encouraging them to revisit Nuketown, particularly as the latest multiplayer playlist update on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" is now live for gamers to enjoy. The featured game mode here is called "Chaos Nuketown," and it introduces a new kind of action in the game that takes place in the iconic map of the franchise.

This is a new version of the map's experiences that takes place in the Nuketown 24/7 mode under the multiplayer playlist featuring a 10v10 setup, respawn, increased score and time limit. This latest experience from Treyarch is available in both standard and hardcore difficulties.

Hardcore mode is known for offering reduced player health in every match, as well as missing parts of the HUD (heads-up display) visuals in the game, making it more of a challenge to navigate the mode. That being said, players who have teammates who activate the UAV would be given them temporary access to the mini map again, but this would not last long.

The current reception of Chaos Nuketown remains mixed from players who shared their sentiments over at X, citing the many technical issues present on this new playlist.

There have been reported lag spikes experienced throughout the game, with other problems also reportedly appearing during its gameplay that prevent players to enjoy the new mode.

New Party Games, Playlist Experiences Available

Aside from Chaos Nuketown's 10v10 shootout, players are also given new 24/7 Playlists to enjoy in maps, including the Firing Range, Stakeout, and Nuketown. Moreover, the latest playlist update also opens up the experience to new party games available to enjoy on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6."

According to GameRant, this includes modes like Gun Game, Gunfight, Infected, Prop Hunt, and Sharpshooter playlist modes.

However, two of the biggest updates of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" Season 3 is the return of the fan favorite Verdansk map on "Warzone 2.0" with significant upgrades added in by Treyarch. On the other hand, there is also the "Shattered Veil" Zombies map, which brings something new to the famed "Call of Duty Zombies" experience, offering players more to explore as they play.
