California Receives FEMA Grant To Fight Wildfires Near Altadena

California has been granted assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to combat the Eaton fire near Altadena, which has now spread to 400 acres in size. Governor Gavin Newsom made the announcement regarding this development.

Additionally, the state has also received a Fire Management Assistance Grant from FEMA to address the Palisades fire, which has grown to over 2,921 acres. These grants are intended to provide support to local fire departments in covering their response costs.
