Caitlyn Jenner opened up on Kim Kardashian ’s new romance with Pete Davidson, and said her stepdaughter is “very happy”.
The 72-year-old said she will be going out to dinner with Kim and the Saturday Night Live funnyman very soon, and was delighted to see the mother-of-four in a good place after splitting from husband Kanye West last year.
Speaking with her former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Roman Kemp on his Capital Breakfast radio show, Caitlyn shared some juicy gossip about Kim and Pete’s secretive relationship.
“She does seem very happy. I’ve talked a little bit about it, you know, with my family, I have to be very quiet,” she laughed.
“But yeah I was talking to her the other day and I said ‘you know, I haven’t even met him yet!’ He hasn’t been at any function that I’ve been at. And she goes ‘oh my God! You’ll love him! We have to go to dinner!’” Caitlyn shared.
“So that’s going to happen pretty soon.”
Caitlyn shares daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner with ex-wife and momager Kris Jenner, and was also stepfather to Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob Kardashian.
She said she was overjoyed to see the SKIMS founder find her true passion in life, and was relieved to see her settled and happy following her bitter split from rapper Kanye.
“Honestly, I like to see Kim happy. Kim is the most amazing human being I know out there. I mean, she’s smart, articulate, highly motivated,” the former Olympic gold medal-winning athlete said.
Caitlyn noted that while Kim is raising her four kids - North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 - the billionaire beauty mogul was also juggling her hugely successful companies, as well as studying to become a lawyer.
“And in all that time she’s raising four kids, and she’s just passed her bar, her first bar, they call it the mini bar, to become a lawyer. Roman, you couldn’t do that!” she joked.
“Yeah, runs a big house, raises kids, builds billion dollar business and in the meantime she winds up getting her law, you know, eventually she could get her law degree,” Caitlyn added, as Roman asked the athlete-turned-politician if she was proud of Kim.
“Extremely proud, thank you,” she sweetly stated.
