Caitlin Clark Butter Sculpture at Iowa State Fair Is Frighteningly Impressive

Caitlin Clark has emerged as one of the biggest stars of college basketball in recent years, and it appears her stardom among the Iowa faithful is only growing stronger.

Not only has the reigning Naismith Player of the Year produced amazing feats on the hardwood, but Clark’s popularity has also apparently expanded away from the court and into the Iowa State Fair.

The annual event in the Hawkeye State draws around one million patrons every year, this year’s event had something special for Clark’s fans. She was one of several high-profile athletes immortalized with a massive sculpture made out of butter. The edible sculpture of the 21-year-old was alongside former Northern Iowa star and NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, as well as Iowa State standout Jack Trice, the first African American athlete to attend the university.

The sculptures of Clark, Warner and Trice were presented alongside the popular Butter Cow, a steel mesh frame cow that weigh nearly 600 pounds.

Clark’s game is a spectacle on the court, and it looks like that spectacle made its way to the state fair in quite a unique way.
