A popular pizza restaurant in the southside could be set for a second spot in the area after locals spotted posters in the window of an empty unit.
Signs for Caesar's Pizza have appeared in the window at the empty store across from Cathcart Station on a corner of Clarkston Road.
The unit which originally hosted Glasgow MSP James Dornan’s former office in the southside area has posters which read: "Untitled new production from @Caesar's Pizza, Coming Soon."
A bid to transform the ground floor property at 2 Clarkston Road into an eatery was recently approved after councillors overruled a previous knockback.

Plans included a 20 seat dining area, kitchen and servery, and the business would be open from 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday and 9 am to 8 pm on Sunday.
Caeser's Pizza is currently based on Torrisdale Street and is well known for its innovative pizzas.
A spokesperson for the brand said that they are still crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s but are hoping it’ll all be confirmed soon.
