Andrea Sumner said: "I remember my sister taking me there for one of my birthdays and going for a mates birthday as well. Loved it there."

Victoria Cuckson said: "Nearly all our family birthdays were in Caesar's Palace. Everyone liked it, even the fussy eaters. Big loss."

Damon's

The restaurant which gave people free meals on their birthday for a quarter of a century closed in 2017 and the premises was transformed into an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.

Damon's on Speke Road had been a draw for Liverpool diners with its trademark ribs since it opened in 1992.

Jenny's Seafood Restaurant

Although the restaurant has closed, the name is still popular in Liverpool.

It was once so popular, diners hoping to visit the establishment had to pre-book their table far in advance.

However, since its closure it is now a thriving bar, shortening its name now to 'Jenny's' but evidence of the restaurant remains, as signs can still be seen above the bar entrance.

Faye Sinnott said: "Jennys Seafood Restaurant on Fenwick Street and Berni inn were both birthday places that I loved as a kid."

Faye Sinnott called Jenny's "an amazing restaurant."

El Macho
