Cadbury launch white chocolate Christmas special but everyone says the same thing

Even though we haven't even seen the end of summer, confectionary giants are not wasting time to get into the Christmas spirit.

It feels like each year stores start celebrating the next holiday earlier and earlier - and we haven't even reached Halloween. And family favourite Cadbury's are no different after launching a childhood favourite Christmas treat.

Online, shoppers spotted a white chocolate Santa on Cadbury Gifts Direct. On NewfoodsUK, the eagle eyed shopper wrote: "New Cadbury White Chocolate Santa Claus! So glad Cadbury's have made more white chocolate products! This was super creamy and is the perfect treat this festive period! We got this online at Cadbury Gifts Direct."

While the chocolate Santa will likely end up in many Christmas stockings, many fumed it was too early. As we just get into August, the comment section sparked over 200 sweet-tooths to rant - and they were all saying the same thing.

One wrote: "A bit early for Xmas posts isn't it."

Another complained: "Sigh..... Every year I get less and less excited about Christmas because every year it gets earlier and earlier so the magic is gone by November. Never mind December."

"It's flipping August!!" A third fumed.

Another commented: "Need halloween chocolate first!"

But many praised the new product and can't wait for it to hit the shelves.

One cheered: "They are doing more Xmas white chocolate products and it makes my fat a** so happy."

"I love white chocolate so glad we're seeing more of it," another added.

Tagging their pal, another said: "Christmas is obviously on the way, we better get prepared for lovely singing!"

And another Christmas fan wrote: "Done all my Xmas shopping lol."

When is the right time to start getting prepared for Christmas? Let us know in the comments.
