People are being urged not to fall victim to a potential social media scam this Easter as Cadbury issues an urgent warning to anyone with WhatsApp.
The scam, which is aiming to access people's personal information, involves a WhatsApp message that has been sent to many people and contains a link stating they could get a free chocolate Easter basket from Cadbury.

The fake posts have also reportedly been shared on Facebook and the major chocolate manufacturer has now had to speak out as people begin to fall victim to the Easter scam.
On Thursday afternoon, Cadbury issued an urgent statement warning and asked its customers to not interact or share details with the post.
In the post, which has been shared 6,000 times, Cadbury said: "We’ve been made aware of circulating posts on social media, claiming to offer consumers a free Easter Chocolate basket. We can confirm that this has not been generated by us and would urge consumers not to interact or share personal information through the post.
"Customer security is our priority and we’re working with the relevant organisations to ensure this is resolved." Action Fraud also issued a warning.
The Action Fraud alert, issued by North Wales Police, stated: "The WhatsApp free Cadbury Easter chocolate basket message doing the rounds at the moment is a scam! Please don't click on it or share any of your information via the page."
