Chocolate lovers have been surprised with the return of an old favourite sweet treat in the budget-friendly retail store B&M.
Cadbury's Dream chocolate bars have been spotted on UK shelves once again after being discontinued over two decades ago due to poor sales.
They are still being made in Australia and South Africa, meaning they're imported here to the UK. Shoppers can pick them up at B&M stores for just £1.99, Leicestershire Live reports.
The discovery was made on the Facebook group Food Finds UK, with one Cadbury fan posting a picture of the bars on the shelf with the caption "B&M - £1.99".
The comments began to flood in, with many people saying they were desperate to get to the shops and buy some.
The Dream bar is made up of creamy white chocolate similar to a Milky Way, but with thicker chunks for a more indulgent snack. They were withdrawn from UK stores in 2002 due to a "lack of popularity", but were re-introduced to some stores in 2020.
The re-launch was part of the B&M Cadbury Australia Chocolate promotions, and the budget retailer also stocks Australian favourites Cadbury Dairy Milk Top Deck, Crispy Mint Creme, and Moro Bars. It also offers Cadbury Caramilk Bars, Cadbury Twirl Caramilk Bars and Australian Cadbury Dairy Milk Turkish Delight Bars.
The news will come as a relief to anyone who has missed being able to buy them, but didn't want to pay the hefty shipping charges from Australia.
