Chocolate lovers across the country have been left divided by a controversial new flavour of chocolate bar from confectionary giant Cadbury.
The iconic chocolate brand has launched a tropical pineapple flavoured bar of chocolate and it has ignited a debate that could rival the pineapple on pizza war. Priced at just £1, Cadbury's chocolate bar with a "flowing tropical pineapple flavoured centre" had shoppers both intrigued and disgusted in equal measure.
Fans were quick to comment on the controversial new summer flavour after a snap of 180g bar surfaced on social media, reports Leicestershire Live. And while some were definitely all for the trying out the new concoction, there were many who thought Dairy Milk should be left as a plain milk chocolate bar.
Lucy Peck posted: "Pineapple doesn’t taste good on anything or even on its own."
Katherine Joyce put: "Just plain Dairy milk for me please"
Jonathan Morgan said: "That’s going to get the world record for least shoplifted chocolate in the UK."
Helen Cooke added: "I’d give that a go"
Another said: "Hot pineapple dipped in chocolate just beautiful, but ONLY if you like pineapple."
Shoppers keen to try out the bold new flavour can pick up a bar in B&M, or on Amazon.
