Gogglebox is back on our screens for a weekly dose of tv show commentary, but it is Stephen Lustig-Webb - one half of couple Stephen and Daniel - who has inspired followers this week. Having made a lifestyle change, his story prompted fans to share their own successes.
The Gogglebox pair have been regulars on the Channel 4 show for years. Stephen joined the first ever series of the popular programme back in 2013 when he appeared with friend Chris. Since then, he has taken his sofa seat in front of the box with his mum and in later series' with husband Daniel.
Established as fan favourites, both now regularly update followers with details of their lives. One of Stephen's latest posts showed a picture of a chocolate sprinkled cappuccino, followed by an image of himself in the restaurant alongside the caption: "First night out in London not drinking done #nohangover #alcoholfree #noheadaches #nobeerfear #nostrangerdanger #nosundayscaries #onemonthsober".

With the sofa critic declaring that he'd given up alcohol, it didn't take long for followers to share their own experiences and offer support for the star.
"Awesome", wrote one follower. Adding: "Eleven years ago I gave up alcohol and what an amazing life it's been (since then... before then it was pretty damn miserable)". Another joined in the conversation: "I am now 6 months in to living life without alcohol and could not be happier! My energy levels are through the roof. A challenging journey but absolutely worth it. Congrats to you xx". And another confirmed: "Best thing you’ll do, 10 months for me now and it’s like freedom."
A stream of comments followed offering support. "Congratulations. It’s very empowering once you get a head of steam up". Another added: "Brilliant!! Well done!! The alcohol related illnesses are many as you get older and to quit now is a positive step. Don’t go back, stay on track... You look younger and more vibrant. Reward yourself with some retail therapy". Someone else agreed: "Great stuff…a year (just over) for me! Best thing ever…and you get to spend loads of money (that would’ve gone on booze) win win".
Another added: "I'm two weeks alcohol free and even had a night out last sat without alcohol and it was a revelation. No arguments no beer fear or prosecco for me. You are in inspiration, well done to you x"
