The Arizona Cardinals are not expected to have center Rodney Hudson for a fifth straight game. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury basically ruled him out for the Cardinals’ Week 9 home game against the Seattle Seahawks.
He has been out since Week 4 with a knee injury.
“I would say at least this week he’ll be out,” Kingsbury said Monday. “I’m not sure moving forward where that’ll be, but at some point in the future I expect him back.”
The Cardinals had Sean Harlow start in two of the games Hudson has missed and, more recently, Billy Price was the starter. Both played well in their first appearance and struggled in their second.
In the four games without Hudson in the lineup, the Cardinals have gone 1-3, winning only their Week 7 home game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Cardinals enter a three-game stretch playing all NFC West opponents.
Kingsbury suggested last week that Hudson could be back in a couple of weeks. Perhaps he will be able to go when the Cardinals travel to Los Angeles in Week 10 to face the Rams for the second time this season.
