C.J. Stroud sounded like a seasoned veteran explaining how he pulled off a last-minute Texans TD

Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has had no trouble impressing people across the NFL with his stellar play across his first five starts.

While speaking with reporters on Thursday, Stroud wowed fans by breaking down the fourth-quarter touchdown he threw against the Atlanta Falcons that almost set up the team for a last-minute victory.

Indeed, Stroud talks through his process of analyzing Falcons safety Jessie Bates III and how he told Texans tight end Dalton Schultz where to run to get him in position to score.

This is the kind of explanation you’d expect from a veteran quarterback, so it’s just so impressive to hear Stroud break down how this touchdown happened.

Stroud clearly has a bright future in the league, as does his head coach DeMeco Ryans and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.

The Texans have been one of the more surprising teams in the NFL this season, and Stroud has been a big reason as to why.

NFL fans were amazed by the way Stroud broke this play down.
