With NFL draft rumors swirling, much of the talk surrounds the quarterbacks expected to be taken near the top of the first round. Ohio State star C.J. Stroud is reportedly making a pair of visits as he makes his rounds with potential landing spots.
Stroud will reportedly visit with the Colts and Lions later this week, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Stroud previously worked out with Indianapolis on April 3 alongside Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. The Buckeyes star has met with several teams across the league that will make top-10 selections in this year’s draft.
Stroud met with the Raiders on Tuesday, per Pelissero. Las Vegas is set to make the No. 7 selection in the first round of this year’s draft.
After his visit in Sin City, Stroud will visit with Indianapolis and Detroit later this week, with the Colts holding the No. 4 pick and the Lions with No. 6 and No. 18.
It’s still a mystery where Stroud and the rest of the top passers could end up, but if his meetings are any indication, there’s a number of teams that are potentially interested in the Heisman finalist.
