C.J. Stroud secretly knew Tank Dell would be open before his head-turning touchdown against the Cardinals

Do yourself a favor: put this new C.J. Stroud and Tank Dell clip on a loop.

The Houston Texans drafted C.J. Stroud in April and have never looked back. The rookie sensation has been tearing up football fields and NFL defenses like he’s been here before. Football comes so naturally to him that Stroud has firmly planted himself in the middle of Rookie of the Year and MVP conversations. Much to the delight of Texans fans everywhere, Stroud is the quarterback the franchise deserves after years of underwhelming football.

Yet, it helps to have some help along the way to get things done, even if that help is a 5-foot-8, 165-pound rookie wide receiver named Tank Dell. But don’t let his small stature fool you. Dell is a baller, and he knows it.

That’s why he called his number before this beautiful 40-yard touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals.
