After struggling last week in swirling winds against Northwestern, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud was back to filling up the box score Saturday in another blowout win.
Stroud tossed five touchdown passes, completing 17 of his 28 pass attempts for 297 yards, as the Buckeyes ran away with a 56-14 victory over Indiana. Those five scoring tosses made Stroud the first player in Big Ten history to throw for 30 or more touchdowns in consecutive seasons.
Despite missing star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba yet again, and losing both of his top running backs to injury, Stroud delivered another dominant performance through the air.
There are plenty of reasons why Stroud should be one of the first quarterbacks off the board in the 2023 NFL draft, and they were all on full display Saturday against the Hoosiers.
