Busy weekend for Dublin Fire Brigade following multiple blazes

It was a busy weekend for the brave crew of the Dublin Fire Brigade as they were called to multiple incidents across the capital.

Skerries firefighters rushed to the scene of a number of bins set on fire close to a building on Saturday night.

The members managed to tackle the blaze and stop it from spreading to the structure.

A spokesperson for the emergency service warned the public to store waste and recyclables away from the property in a secure area.

Dublin Fire Brigade staff rushed to the scene after a fire ripped through a restaurant in Blanchardstown on Saturday.

The crew used breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control.

A spokesperson added: "When breathing apparatus is in use an Entry Control Officer (ECO) checks and monitors all aspects of the teams to ensure their safety."
