Three people have been rushed to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on a busy Edinburgh road.
Portobello Road, at Piershill, was closed for several hours on Friday evening following the incident which led to a vehicle having its roof cut off by firefighters.
Multiple buses were diverted away from the scene after the incident around 4pm on Friday, November 25, and police say enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

The road was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions with buses and other vehicles being diverted via Restalrig and Marionville Road until the route opened two hours later.
The condition of the three people taken to hospital and their ages have not been disclosed by police at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4 pm on Friday, 25 November 2022, police received a report of a two vehicle crash on Portobello Road, Edinburgh.
"Emergency services attended and three people were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by ambulance.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
