Busy A60 Mansfield Road in Nottingham brought to standstill after crash

Traffic was brought to a standstill on a busy road after a crash. It comes as A60 Mansfield Road was partially blocked in both directions after a collision in both directions.

Police were called out to the scene shortly after 4.10pm on Tuesday (June 14). The road was blocked off from A614 Ollerton Road to B6011 Forest Lane.

No severe injuries were reported, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed. The two drivers involved were taken to the hospital as a "matter of precaution".

Police left the scene just before 6pm. The traffic was very slow, according to traffic monitoring website Inrix.

In an update, traffic monitoring site Inrix reported: "Road cleared and traffic easing, accident cleared on A60 Mansfield Road in both directions from A614 Ollerton Road to B6011 Forest Lane."
