Busted have confirmed they are going back on the road with a reunion tour and releasing a new album. Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson, and James Bourne delighted fans with the announcement that they are getting back together to mark the band's 20th anniversary.
The band - known for hits including Year 3000, Air Hostess and What I Go To School For - will play 15 dates from September. They will also release an album of new versions of their best-loved songs which will feature other 2000s bands All Time Low and McFly.
The reunion was teased on Busted's social media accounts earlier this week. Banners were updated to include the date March 23 - leading fans to expect a major announcement. Tickets for the tour are going on sale at 9am on March 31, the Mirror reports.
James said: "It's out of this world that we get to do this and we couldn't be more excited about it. It's going to be wicked."
Charlie recently teased fans about a new album, telling Capital Breakfast: "It might be coming. If it was coming I'd be sworn to secrecy."
The first new Busted release will be a new version of Loser Kid, from their debut album. The track will be out on April 14 and will feature pop rock stars Simple Plan.
Fans don't have long to get tickets either, as tickets for all the shows will go on sale at 9am on March 31 via Ticketek and Ticketmaster.
Those who want early access to the shows can sign up to pre-sale launches, taking place on Wednesday, March 29 via this link here and if you're an O2 customer you can get early access with O2 Priority too.
