Business Hive Live promises a pearl of an event in 'new' Cleethorpes venue

A new venue and full line-up for North East Lincolnshire’s annual business expo has been revealed ahead of it taking place next week.

E-Factor’s Business Hive Live event heads to The Pearl - the new name for Cleethorpes Beachcomber - on Tuesday, with organisers billing three “incredible guest speakers” as well as a start-up zone for budding local entrepreneurs.

The support organisation aims to showcase the best of the area’s SME community, celebrating the strength, diversity, and growth.

Managing director of E-Factor Group, Mark Webb, said: “Business Hive Live is such a positive event and one I look forward to every year. I am delighted the team are bringing it back. What’s not to like.. hundreds of business people and entrepreneurs, some amazing exhibition stands and of course the inspiring national keynote speakers that the Hive always bring to these events?!”

Launching with breakfast networking and a 15-minute “wake up, shake up” fitness session with Bailey Greetham-Clark of Be Great Fitness, Mr Webb described it as “a great move, gets people talking and offers a chance to be introduced to your next biggest customer”.

Taking to the stage first at 11am is best-selling author and professional speaker, Gavin Scott, who uses his career as a basis to help businesses create a winning workforce. He has worked with premium brands O2, BMW and Barclays, and has helped them all deliver exceptional customer service.

He now combines his techniques and knowledge to design and deliver events that inspire his audience to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

He will be followed by motivational psychologist, Kyle Walker, who will discuss emotional intelligence and why it can matter more than IQ. He provides guest lectures at universities, education facilities and professional development seminars across the UK.

Keynote speaker Tim Dorsett, UK culture and office manager for Innocent Drinks, will close the event, telling the inspiring story of how the business went from three friends at a festival to a company voted third best to work for in the country. He’ll explain how businesses can be successful, while exuding happiness, offering tools and techniques to put into practice.

The free event opens to Hive members from 8.30am and all other businesses from 9.30am, with online registration now open.

It is a key element of the Great Big Small Business Festival week, pulled together by E-Factor as a first for 2022. A programme of events to both inspire and educate businesses through a series of workshops, company tours, and networking opportunities.
