Major changes are happening to West Dublin's bus network tomorrow as BusConnects G Spine is officially rolled out.
Phase 4 of the project will see the 79, 79A and 40 bus routes replaced by the G1, G2 and Route 60. The G1 and G2 will run overnight, increasing the total number of 24-hour routes across the network to 10.
The new buses will mainly serve Ballyfermot, Liffey Valley, Inchicore, Clondalkin, Cherry Orchard and Sir John Rogerson’s Quay and will be operated by Dublin Bus. Andrea Keane, Acting CEO of Dublin Bus said: "The launch of G Spine and Route 60 services is positive news for our customers across West Dublin.
